A Bristol engineering consultancy has been acquired in a “multi-million dollar” deal.
Conygre provides IT software training for its global customer base, including the BBC, Rolls Royce, Jaguar Land Rover, Visa, Lloyds Banking Group and the NHS.
Founded in 1999 and named after the road in Bristol where CEO Nick Todd used to live, the company has now been acquired by Neueda, one of Northern Ireland’s best-known digital service providers.

The two firms, who have been collaborating on training programs around the world for 10 years, said the agreement would help both enhance their customer portfolios in the global financial services, telecom, automotive and technology industries.
Mr. Todd, CEO of Conygre, said: “Our bespoke training programs are a perfect match for Neueda’s high work standards, making the partnership extremely strategic and robust. A proven partnership with Neueda’s visionary path proves this is a smart alignment as we expand our joint technology skills training to customers worldwide.”
Neueda CEO and Founder, David Bole added: “The [Conygre] team continues to impress us with their cloud engineering expertise and the acquisition is part of our deliberate strategy to provide the best technology training solutions on the market. Together we will help our clients future-proof their teams and strengthen employee knowledge and engagement with their companies.”
In 2021, Neueda was purchased by Dublin-based IT company Version 1, creating what the Irish company described as the largest technology companies in Northern Ireland, with 2,000 employees, over 500 customers and expected revenues of around £170m.
