International firm DAC Beachcroft has confirmed it is exploring ‘all options’, including the sale of much of its business with more than 1,000 employees.

It has been reported that DAC Beachcroft is selling the Claims Solutions Group, which the firm describes as “the market-leading claims law firm” providing specialized services to insurers and corporate clients, and is in talks with private equity firm Limerston Capital.

DAC Beachcroft has neither confirmed nor denied the reports.

A spokesperson said: ‘Following a thorough strategic review of our business, we have decided to explore all of our options to enhance the long-term investment in our Claims Solutions Group. CSG continues to operate in a very dynamic market and we are constantly reviewing those markets and adjusting our strategy to ensure we can invest in CSG’s future in a way that enhances CSG’s overall offering and benefits our customers.”

DAC Beachcroft’s Claims Solutions Group employs over 1,000 people and operates from 12 locations across the UK and Ireland.

It won the ‘defendant law firm of the year’ category at the British Claims Awards in 2018.
