Physician Loretta O’Sullivan has been appointed chief economist at EY Eire. The outgoing chief economist of the Financial institution of Eire group will be a part of the Large 4 agency in January.
As chief economist, O’Sullivan will oversee financial analysis and evaluation for the corporate and its shoppers and will likely be tasked with creating actionable insights from the newest macroeconomic knowledge.
Previous to changing into Chief Economist on the Financial institution of Eire, O’Sullivan headed the Financial institution’s Financial Analysis Unit and was liable for financial evaluation, commentary, forecasting and analysis.

Throughout her profession, O’Sullivan has held senior positions with the Ministry of Finance and the Central Financial institution of Eire and was seconded for a time to the Financial and Monetary Affairs Directorate of the European Fee.
O’Sullivan has a PhD in economics from Trinity CollegeDublinan MA in Coverage, Administration and Authorities from the College of Yorkand a BA (Mod) in economics and social research from TCD.
