A 26-year-old man is behind bars after police say he assaulted a younger girl throughout a job interview at a Trussville tanning salon.
Trussville cops had been dispatched to the Palm Seashore Tan on Frank Road in Trussville noon Friday, Chief Eric Rush stated. A 19-year-old worker advised police she was interviewing the suspect for a job on the firm when he attacked her.
The worker was in a position to fend him off. She suffered minor accidents.
The suspect fled the shop after the assault, Rush stated.
Fortunately for investigators, the suspect used his actual title and deal with within the software. He was arrested a short while later at his house in Clay.
The suspect is recognized as Shameek Absalom Dunn. He’s charged with first-degree tried rape and kidnapping.
Dunn was checked into the Jefferson County Jail at 12:56 p.m. Saturday and stays held on bail totaling $90,000.
