Radisson Hotel Group is to build a new Radisson RED hotel near Edinburgh Airport.

The property will feature 204 rooms, including six junior suites, with a bar and restaurant on the top floor, with outdoor terraces.

Also on the top floor will be approximately 2,000 m² of meeting and event space, including a conference room of 1,300 m².

The newly constructed building is less than a mile from the airport and will open in late 2025.

The brand already has a presence on the other side of the country, with the Radisson RED Glasgow next to the SEC, as well as the flagship Radisson RED Liverpool and other properties in London airports.

Adela Cristea, Vice President for Business Development UK & Ireland at Radisson Hotel Group, said: “We are very much looking forward to bringing our fun and vibrant Radisson RED brand to Edinburgh Airport – it will provide business and leisure travelers with a relaxing stay in a informal environment to kickstart their holiday or relax after a long journey.”

The project will be developed in collaboration with development manager Creos Property.
