QI will be mortgage free in the next few months and was wondering if I could take out a small mortgage with my daughter to help her buy a home? Is a joint mortgage available for this, such as for a husband and wife who take out a mortgage? Or is age an issue? I am 54 and will not retire until I am 68 and work in the HSE. I am full time and permanent. The mortgage will probably be around € 100,000.
